  "No, it's not over."

Marc whispered to himself as he stared at the setting sun. The large sphere of heaven gave a dance of vivid colors across the sky as it plummeted to the ground. The wind blow against his face as if they replied to what he said. The waters reflected lines of white light as the sun grew smaller over the horizon. A calm silence surround him, a silence that he never wanted.

"Hey! Marc! The food's here, Hurry up!"

Marc turned to his right and saw David, waving his arms and calling out for the party to start. Ethan, Bianca, and Helen was already at the table. Pizzas, steaks, salads, and a handful of beverages stacked the table. They were all chit chatting about their own lives and how everything changed, either for the better or for worse.

"Yeah, in a minute." Marc called out to David, which now sat down and joined the party. He could hear them talk from where he stood. Heaving a sigh, he looked back into the sun, which now has already set. "I still can't believe it." Marc closed his eyes as he breathed another sigh. He could feel his body grow weaker as he shivered in the cold. His eyes slowly got filled with tears as he remembers each waking moment with her.

David called out for Marc again, now, he saw him walking towards a tree. David turned his head in disappointment. "Hey guys, have you ever noticed that Marc became a bit sadder than usual nowadays?"

  "Yeah, he is." Bianca replied.

"Maybe he hasn't recovered yet from what happened."

"Yeah, maybe you're right Helen, but he really has it down." Ethan said worriedly.

"Yep, I hope he gets better though."

Marc, still under the tree, watched the stars as he dreams of the past. "I still wish you were here, I still wish..." A tear rolled down from his eyes down to the cheeks and dropped to the ground. He grew thirsty sitting there all alone. He looked down and saw a dandelion sprouting from the ground. He picked it up and stared. "I guess, this... I guess, she'd want me to move on."

Then he remembered one last thing on the day they met. Marc took out his wallet and he found a small note attached to a rose petal he once gave her. He opened the note which reads:

"Marc, I knew one day would come when you'll finally read this. Marc, I know what it means to have feelings for someone and know that they'll never be together. I promise, we'll meet again someday in the future. We'll be happy together once again, but now, we have to go our separate ways. This hurts more for me than it does to you, Marc. But remember this, I'll never forget you, and you'll always be in my heart, deep down, where nothing can pierce other than you alone. One day, we'll meet again, I PROMISE..."

With that in mind, Marc hid the note, stood up and when together with his friends. The cheers went on again, and this time, everyone was happy. With the memories of the past, kept in the past, and the future is bright.
^_^ this'll be Day 5 of my submissions(phew, only two more to go XD)
